********************************************DISCLAIMER READ FIRST******************************** As part of what's called the Daniel Fast, I've gone for days and even weeks eating nothing but fruit, vegetables, whole grains and nuts. Initially, this way of eating can cause one to experience headaches, dizziness and feeling faint. I am sharing this as part of my spiritual weight loss journey and am not recommending this for anyone. Please consult your health care provider before following this or any other way of eating. In the past, I've incorporated this soup into my Daniel Fast. I started a modified Daniel Fast where I eat fish and seafood. I made this soup earlier this month, but included grilled fish and ate a baked potatoe (or potatoe sauteed in a pan with a little olive oil, onions and red pepper) almost everyday. Even with this, I still experienced a moderate headache and uneasiness on the 4th day. I ate a handful of peanuts along with some fresh pineapple and rested for about an hour. Additionally, on this day, I felt like I may have consumed too much water - it's weird and I can't really explain the feeling I had, but the thought of even taking a sip of water made me nauseous! I started off drinking about 64 ounces of water a day, but after day 4, I could only take in between 32 and 48 ounces.
